At CPS Global School Anna Nagar, we believe that small actions today can shape a cleaner, greener tomorrow. This week, our students came together to mark International Plastic Bag Free Day, a global movement dedicated to eliminating single-use plastic bags and inspiring us all to make more sustainable choices.
Our day started with reflection: during assembly, each student named one plastic item they used yesterday and suggested a reusable alternative. This tiny moment helped everyone realize how common plastics are in our lives — and how easy it is to make a switch!
We joined millions worldwide to say NO to single-use plastic bags and YES to a cleaner planet! Through simple, reflective activities, our students wrote catchy eco-slogans, crunched real-time data on plastic-free lunches, and won the “Green Hero” titles. Before the bell, they pledged one habit they’ll change to cut down plastic — a small promise for a big difference.
