“Every character a child loves becomes a small part of who they are becoming.”
Our Lower Primary learners stepped into a world of colour and imagination during our lively “Step Into Toonland” event. The campus was filled with excitement as children arrived dressed as their favourite cartoon characters, bringing familiar figures to life with enthusiasm and charm.
Throughout the event, students confidently spoke about the characters they chose and shared why those characters meant so much to them. Many even performed a short walk, recited a few lines, or struck a playful pose to showcase their character, adding a delightful spark of personality and fun to the experience. As they presented, students discovered more than just the joy of dressing up. They learned to express themselves clearly, speak with confidence, and connect personal meaning to the characters they portrayed. Many also shared what their characters had taught them, whether it was courage in tough moments, the importance of helping others, or the value of staying cheerful and hopeful. It was heartwarming to see how deeply these animated characters influence and inspire young minds.
“Step Into Toonland” was a delightful celebration of imagination and expression. The children enjoyed every moment of becoming their chosen characters, and the event reaffirmed how stories and characters continue to spark confidence, learning, and joy in our young learners.
