“Love comes in small hands, big smiles, and a lot of glitter.”
Valentine’s Day in our Early Years classrooms was a delightful mix of colours, creativity, and heartfelt moments.
Our EY1 children kicked off the celebrations with “Gift of Love” card making. Armed with crayons, stickers, and endless enthusiasm, they crafted sweet little cards that spoke volumes—sometimes with shapes, sometimes with scribbles, but always with love.
In EY2, love took on every shade imaginable as children painted hearts in vibrant colours under the theme “Handmade with Love”. Each artwork was as unique as its creator, filled with joy, imagination, and proud smiles.
EY3 learners added a thoughtful twist with “Messages on the Move”, writing letters to someone they love. These simple notes—honest, warm, and occasionally adorable—reminded us that the most meaningful words don’t need to be long.
This Valentine’s Day, our classrooms were filled not just with art and letters, but with kindness, connection, and a whole lot of heart.
