She Leads Programme: Empowering CIE Girls Through STEM Learning

Written by cpsglobalblog

“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn.”
This beautifully reflects the spirit of the She Leads Programme, organised by IEEE Try Engineering in collaboration with Panimalar Engineering College, which offered an inspiring and empowering learning experience for the girls of CIE Grades 6–8.

The programme combined hands-on learning, creativity, and emerging technologies to help students develop both technical skills and confidence.

Students participated in engaging sessions on website development, drone technology, and artificial intelligence tools. Through AI platforms like Notebook LM, MathGPT, and PhysicsGPT, students enhanced their problem-solving abilities, analytical thinking, and independent learning. These tools encouraged them to approach academic challenges with creativity and confidence.

The website development module provided practical experience with Google Suite and WordPress, helping students develop essential digital skills while fostering creativity, logical thinking, and effective communication.
The drone technology session introduced students to aerodynamics, drone components, and real-world applications—sparking curiosity and promoting teamwork, focus, and responsibility.

Beyond technical learning, the programme reinforced important life skills, including collaboration, decision-making, digital literacy, resilience, and leadership.
As the saying goes, “Education is not the learning of facts, but the training of the mind to think.” The SheLeads Programme truly embodied this vision by nurturing both technical and life skills in young learners.

Overall, the SheLeads Programme was dynamic, interactive, and highly impactful. It provided students with meaningful exposure to emerging STEM fields while empowering them to become confident, capable future leaders.

“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.”
This programme helped our students take one step closer toward those dreams.

We extend our sincere appreciation to IEEE Try Engineering and Panimalar Engineering College for offering such a valuable and enriching experience to our students.
