Today was nothing short of inspiring! Our CIE 5 students transformed the corridors and the school notice boards into a vibrant hub of ideas and persuasion as part of the Student Council’s campaigning. What truly caught our attention were the creative posters—each one proudly displaying powerful quotes, catchy phrases, and persuasive taglines.
Curious, we asked the students why they had all chosen to include quotes. The answer was unanimous and deeply insightful: “Quotes make an effect; they drive the point home and capture attention.” One student added, “I wanted to grab the reader’s attention!” One another said it creates “an impact”. And one said it “emphasizes my point.”
It was a proud moment to witness these young learners taking their understanding beyond the textbook and applying it meaningfully. Their ability to connect language with influence, creativity with clarity, and learning with leadership speaks volumes about their potential.
We’re excited to see such changemakers in the making, and as we await the ballot box results.
