Our school recently held a special assembly to honor the outstanding achievements of students who have successfully completed the International Award for Young People (IAYP) programme. The assembly was filled with pride and inspiration as the Bronze awardees were recognized for their perseverance, dedication, and commitment to personal growth. The school community applauded their journey, acknowledging the hard work that goes beyond academics.
The IAYP is a global program that challenges young people to develop new skills, engage in volunteering activities, improve their physical fitness, and undertake adventurous journeys. Participants progress through three levels — Bronze, Silver, and Gold — each requiring sustained effort, goal-setting, and reflection. It is designed not just to reward achievement, but to nurture qualities like perseverance, teamwork, leadership, and compassion, shaping well-rounded individuals ready to face life’s challenges with confidence.
