“The Earth is not standing still, it’s always in motion – spinning with life and light.”
As part of our ongoing exploration in motions of Earth, our enthusiastic Grade 4 learners created working models of the Earth’s motions—rotation and revolution. The models showcased how the Earth rotates on its axis, leading to day and night, and how it revolves around the Sun, causing the seasons.
The activity sparked curiosity and excitement among the students as they demonstrated the model confidently during the class assembly. Some even included creative features to show solar and lunar eclipses, using small balls, torches, and shadows to explain how eclipses occur when the Sun, Earth, and Moon align in a straight line.
The event helped all students understand complex ideas in a fun and visual way and built teamwork, communication, and presentation skills.
“Just like Earth’s endless motion, learning too is a journey that never stops.”
