Our CIE6 students had an exciting visit to the Biology laboratory this week, where they used microscopes to examine plant cells and palisade cells. The enthusiasm was infectious as students took turns observing cellular structures for the first time.
“I can actually see the cell walls!” exclaimed one student as the microscopic world came into focus. The hands-on session not only helped students develop practical microscopy skills but also sparked their scientific curiosity. The excitement and wonder they displayed perfectly demonstrate why practical laboratory experiences are so valuable in science education. This microscopic adventure has given them a deeper appreciation for the complexity and beauty of life at the cellular level.
