The biology class of IGYr 1 learnt about the parts of a microscope and their functions. Further, also observed an amoeba, ciliated epithelium, neuron, cheek cells, etc. They observed human cheek cells under the microscope which were taken from a student volunteer and compared it with those of the permanent slide . They observed the extraction, staining and mounting of the temporary slide of the cheek cells and viewed them under the microscope.
