Kalakriti 2025: A Celebration of Art, Creativity, and Community

Written by cpsglobalblog

Kalakriti, the annual art expo at CPS Global School Thirumazhisai, was a grand success this year, making it extra special as part of the Crystal Jubilee celebration of the CPS Group of Institutions. The event was not only a vibrant display of artistic brilliance but also marked the culmination of various club activities aimed at fundraising.

The celebration of creativity saw students proudly showcasing the artwork they had crafted throughout the year, demonstrating the core elements of art—line, color, value, shape, texture, and form. Each grade level explored these elements at their own pace, gaining a deeper understanding of how they apply in the world around them.

Adding to the grandeur of the event, we invited our Chennai Public School, Thirumazhisai, to be part of Kalakriti, where their students exhibited an inspiring collection of artwork ranging from pencil shading, pen & ink drawings, acrylic paintings, poster paintings, mandala drawings, and other diverse art forms.

What makes Kalakriti unique is its inclusive nature, where even teachers had the opportunity to display their artistic creations, adding an extra layer of talent to the event. The art expo also featured a sale of the best works from both students and teachers, offering a chance for visitors to take home a piece of creativity.

A range of engaging stalls and workshops kept the audience involved, with activities like calligraphy and quilling drawing in enthusiastic parents. Fun activities such as Mehendi, face painting, bracelet making, and block printing on tote bags kept both students and parents engaged. The Cookery Club organized food stalls to recharge the crowd, adding a tasty touch to the festivities.

Kalakriti truly was a showstopper, marking the year’s grand finale of events with artistic brilliance and community spirit.
