The Children’s Day celebration at CPS Global School was a vibrant blend of joy, learning, and heartfelt appreciation. The day began with a warm and soothing Morning Prayer, followed by an insightful Thought for the Day that encouraged students to begin with positivity and purpose. This was complemented by the day’s news reading, helping students stay informed and engaged.
The excitement continued throughout the day as various activities were conducted in class. In the afternoon, a Special Assembly was held at 2:30 p.m., carefully designed to highlight the spirit of Children’s Day. The programme began with the Significance of the Day, honouring the ideals of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Heartfelt Tamil poems were recited to set a cultural tone, followed by a melodious music performance that filled the hall with warmth.
Students were delighted by the lively skit performance, and the energy reached its peak with a captivating dance performance by the teachers. The day concluded meaningfully with an address by the Head of School, reminding students of their potential and the joy they bring to the school community. It was a memorable celebration, honouring the innocence, dreams, and smiles of every child.
