The energetic learners of Early Years 3A had a fun-filled day exploring movement and coordination through an engaging gross motor activity using sidewalk chalk!
The school walkway turned into a colourful trail of action cues as the children joyfully followed chalk-drawn prompts. From walking through the line with careful balance, to popping imaginary bubbles, spinning with laughter, jumping high, walking with rhythm and clapping to a beat, each movement was designed to support their motor development in a playful and creative way.
This activity not only encouraged physical fitness but also helped strengthen listening skills, focus and body awareness. The sheer excitement on their faces as they followed each action was a beautiful reminder of how learning through movement can be both effective and enjoyable. EY3A certainly chalked up a wonderful day of active learning!
