“Thank you is a small word, but it makes a big difference.”
We believe that values learned early last a lifetime. To nurture kindness and appreciation, our little ones at CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai celebrated Gratitude Day with joy and warmth.
The day began with the children learning the meaning of gratitude through a video about being thankful for the love, care, and blessings around them. Our tiny tots of EY1 and EY2 expressed their gratitude to our caretaking aunties by tying beautiful flower bands with the words “Thank You.” The bright beginners of EY3 showed their appreciation to our security and driver uncles, who take care of their safety from home to school and back every day. The glow on their faces reflected their happiness and surely made the day special for everyone.
The children also wrote words of gratitude on apple-shaped papers and stuck them on the Tree of Grateful Reverence, creating a colorful display of thankfulness.
The celebration concluded with the children taking a little pledge: “I will always say thank you and spread kindness.” Gratitude Day was a beautiful reminder that even the smallest hearts can carry the biggest “Thank You.”
