Global Leaders in the Making: CPS Global School’s Standout performance at APL MUN!

Eight students from CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai,  participated in the APL Model United Nations (MUN) conference held at APL School. The students represented various committees: Nakshatara SP (IGYR2) and Kim Ji Hyeok(IBYR1) in WHO, Kim Dahee(IGYR2) and Nishesh Vijai(CAIE 8 ) in UNEP, Thaniya A and Santino R Samurai(IGYR2), Harish Manuvel (IBYR1) in UNODC, and Davina Morwen Babu(IGYR2) in IP.
Throughout the conference, these students showcased their knowledge, diplomatic skills, and passion for global affairs. They engaged in intense debates, collaborated with fellow delegates, and worked towards finding solutions to pressing global issues.
Thaniya’s exceptional performance led to her selection for a special debate in a committee that included the best delegates from each committee. This recognition further highlighted her outstanding abilities as a delegate and her commitment to diplomacy. She was given a verbal mention for her exceptional contributions to UNODC.

Kim Dahee an emerging talent in the world of MUN received a commendable mention from the UNEP, acknowledging her promising skills in the field.

Nishesh Vijai, a rising star, has been honored with a prestigious accolade for delivering the most outstanding foreign policy statement on behalf of the UNEP.
Davina Morwen’s dedication in journalism earned her a noteworthy verbal mention for crafting the finest mystery article for IP. Her remarkable report on a captivating murder case assigned to her highlights her prowess in presenting complex narratives in a captivating manner.

The participation of CPS Global School students in the APL MUN demonstrated their dedication to international relations and their desire to make a positive impact on the world. These young individuals displayed their analytical thinking, public speaking, and negotiation skills, leaving a lasting impression on their fellow participants and the conference organizers. Their experiences at the APL MUN will undoubtedly contribute to their personal growth and inspire them to continue their involvement in global affairs. At this juncture it’s  worth a mention that  CPS Global students are on a winning streak, attending back to back MUNs for the past two weeks with a great track record: a true testimony of sheer perseverance and steadfast determination to make a mark in the world of MUN!
