As part of our ongoing Gleanings Initiative at CPS Global School, we were delighted to host our second parent-led session, which focused on an important topic — safety for young children.
The session was led by Ms. Navya N Kumar, Parent of Vyas N V, CIE-1. Using the beautifully illustrated storybook “Adi & Anku Learn to Stay Safe”, Ms. Navya engaged our young learners in a story session that was both age-appropriate and impactful.
The children were introduced to three simple but powerful safety steps:
- Say NO – if something doesn’t feel right.
- Go – walk away from the situation.
- Tell – inform a trusted adult immediately.
The story helped learners understand what actions to take to protect themselves — all shared in a gentle and reassuring way.
To make the session more interactive, children participated in a small craft and coloring activity, which they proudly took home. Their joy and enthusiasm showed how meaningful this session was for them.
We sincerely thank Ms. Navya for her time and effort in helping our children learn how to stay safe with confidence. Her session was a perfect blend of storytelling, learning, and fun — exactly what the Gleanings Initiative stands for.
