Our CIE 8 students embarked on a sweet journey of discovery through the Sugar Density Experiment, connecting science from the classroom bench to real-world applications in food science and oceanography. This flipped classroom activity encouraged hands-on learning beyond school hours. Students explored how density plays a role in everyday life, analysed key variables, and identified controlled factors—all while uncovering the science that stirs in kitchens and surges through the oceans.
