There are days in a school’s journey that leave an imprint far beyond the calendar—and March 9, 2026, was one such day. It was not just a graduation ceremony; it was a celebration of dreams nurtured, journeys completed, and futures waiting to unfold.
The occasion was graced by our esteemed Chief Guest, Malaippan Nagalingam, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Mauritius (Chennai). In his inspiring address, he encouraged students to embrace global perspectives, remain grounded in values, and step into the future with confidence and responsibility. His words resonated deeply, reminding the graduates that success is not only measured by achievement, but also by character and contribution to society.
Some of these students were our Founder Batch, and we still remember the day many of them first walked through our gates as little learners in EY—holding tiny hands, carrying big curiosity, and stepping into a world that would slowly shape who they are today.Back then, their dreams were simple, their questions endless, and their laughter contagious. Over the years, we witnessed something extraordinary—potential turning into passion, curiosity evolving into clarity, and children growing into confident young individuals. Each classroom, each activity, and each challenge became a stepping stone in their journey.
A heartfelt moment came when the AS Level students took the stage to address their seniors. With warmth and admiration, they spoke about how the graduating batch had left behind footprints that would guide and inspire those who follow. Their words reflected gratitude, respect, and the strong bonds shared within the school community. The Head Boy and Head Girl then shared their journey at CPS, reminiscing about the years filled with learning, friendships, challenges, and growth. Their speech beautifully captured the essence of school life—highlighting not just achievements, but the memories and experiences that shaped them into who they are today.
The Valedictorian delivered a thoughtful and impactful speech, emphasizing the importance of time management. Reflecting on their own journey, they shared how effectively managing time had been key to balancing academics, extracurricular activities, and personal growth—an invaluable lesson for life beyond school.Adding another meaningful perspective, the Student of the Year spoke about the role of resources in a student’s life. They highlighted how access to opportunities, guidance from teachers, and the support of the school environment played a crucial role in shaping success. Their speech served as a reminder that making the most of available resources can unlock immense potential.
Graduation day was filled with emotions—pride in achievements, nostalgia for the years gone by, and excitement for the future ahead. As names were called and students walked across the stage, it felt like watching a beautiful story come full circle. From those early EY days to stepping into renowned colleges and diverse paths, their journey is a testament to growth, determination, and the power of education. As they move forward, they carry with them not just knowledge, but values, memories, and the enduring spirit of this institution.
Congratulations, Class of 2026.
