The CIE1-B students at CPSGS TMZ embarked on an exciting journey today with their very first visit to the ICT Lab. For many, it was their first time sitting at a personal computer, and the excitement was unmistakable. Guided by their teacher, the children were introduced to the different parts of the computer – the monitor, CPU, keyboard, and mouse – along with how to use them safely and effectively. They practiced basic skills such as clicking, dragging, and even typing their own names on the screen.
The moment their names appeared in bold letters brought proud smiles and a sense of accomplishment to their faces. This initial exposure to the world of technology is an important step in helping students develop essential digital skills that will support their learning journey in the years to come. The ICT Lab is not just a room full of computers – it’s a space where curiosity meets creativity, and where young learners take their first confident steps into the digital age.
The digital adventure has only just started, and there’s so much more to explore ahead!
