Our Grade 1 learners turned into little fingerprint detectives as they explored the fascinating world of fingerprints through a hands-on science activity!
With keen eyes, they examined their own fingerprints, comparing the tiny lines, curves and patterns. They discovered three fascinating fingerprint patterns—arches, loops and whorls—and classified their fingerprints based on their observations.
The fun continued as learners transformed their fingerprints into creative doodles, turning simple patterns into imaginative pictures!
Through this playful exploration, learners developed their observation, comparison, classification and creative-thinking skills, while discovering something unique about themselves.
From tiny lines to big ideas, our young detectives discovered that science can be curious, creative and wonderfully personal!
