Find, Hop & Lock! by Early Years 2 students @CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai

Written by cpsglobalblog

Our Early Years 2 learners enjoyed a delightful and engaging “Find, Hop & Lock” activity designed to strengthen their observation, coordination, and cognitive skills. Each child selected a shape from the starting point and hopped along the pathway, stepping only on the matching shapes fixed on the floor. This added an element of excitement while reinforcing shape recognition and gross motor development.

Upon reaching the destination, the children carefully placed the shape they carried into the correct spot on a large shape cutout displayed at the endpoint. This encouraged problem-solving, logical thinking, and hand–eye coordination.

The activity sparked enthusiasm and teamwork, helping young minds connect learning with movement in a fun and meaningful way. It was wonderful to watch our little learners hop, match, and puzzle their way through with bright smiles and confident steps!
