On 25th July 2025, students of Grades 3 to 5 embarked on an exciting educational trip to the Egmore Police Museum, Chennai. The objective of the visit was to help students learn about the evolution of the police force and understand the role of law enforcement in society. As the students walked through the museum, they were fascinated by the exhibits showcasing historic police uniforms, medals, badges, weapons, and communication equipment. The display of vintage police vehicles and old forensic tools sparked their curiosity, leading to many thoughtful questions and discussions.
Guided by museum staff and the teachers, the students discovered how policing has changed over time from handwritten reports and walkie-talkies to modern investigation methods. The visit offered valuable insights into how police officers work to keep communities safe. The field trip was not only informative but also inspiring. It gave our young learners a sense of appreciation for law enforcement and encouraged them to think about civic responsibility and public service. At CPS Global School, we believe in making learning meaningful and memorable. This museum visit was a perfect example of how hands-on experiences enrich classroom learning.
