Every puzzle piece brings us closer to the whole world.

Written by cpsglobalblog

Our young explorers of EY 3B enjoyed an exciting hands-on learning experience as they worked together to arrange the continent puzzles. The activity helped children understand that our world is made up of different continents, each with its own special features, people, animals, and places. As they picked up each puzzle piece, the children observed its shape, color, and size and eagerly tried to find where it belonged on the world map.

While arranging the puzzles, the learners practiced important early skills such as problem-solving, concentration, and logical thinking. They carefully compared pieces, discussed ideas with their friends, and helped one another complete the puzzle. This encouraged meaningful teamwork and communication, making the learning process joyful and collaborative.

The activity also strengthened their fine motor skills, as children turned, fitted, and pressed the pieces into place. With every continent they completed, their confidence grew, and they began to recognize names like Asia, Africa, Europe, Australia, North America, and South America.

By the end of the session, the children proudly viewed their finished puzzle, gaining a clearer understanding of how big and beautiful our world is. The Continents Puzzle Activity made geography fun, interactive, and engaging for all our little learners.
