To make number learning more fun and active, our little explorers of EY3 B enjoyed a hands-on Number Counting Game using hula hoops and balls!
In this interactive activity, hula hoops were placed on the floor with number cards from 1 to 10 inside each hoop. The children were given a set of colorful balls and were encouraged to count and place the correct number of balls inside each hoop based on the number shown.
This game helped children to recognize numbers from 1 to 10, Practice one-to-one correspondence, develop gross motor skills through movement, enhance their ability to follow instructions and take turns. The joyful combination of movement, play, and counting kept the children engaged and excited. Activities like these help build a strong foundation in numeracy while also promoting teamwork, coordination, and confidence. It was a delightful learning experience where every number became a game, and every hoop was a chance to shine!
