Erudite Talk on Child Abuse Awareness and Road Safety

Written by cpsglobalblog

The Erudite Talk on 26th February 2025 educated CIE1-5 students on two crucial topics—child abuse awareness and road safety. Ms. Janani Iyer, Chair of Massom Yi, Chennai, led an engaging session on child abuse, emphasizing personal safety, recognizing unsafe situations, and seeking help. Using interactive storytelling and real-life examples, she empowered students to identify and respond to dangers confidently.

The session also introduced CHOTA COP, a CPS Global School road safety initiative. Mr. Sanjay Kumar and Mr. Anantha Krishnan from YI, guided students on traffic rules, pedestrian behaviour, and responsible road use. Demonstrations on traffic signals, helmets, seat belts, and distractions while commuting reinforced safety measures.

Both interactive sessions actively involved students, making learning impactful. By the end of the talk, students gained essential knowledge to protect themselves and contribute to a safer community, fostering awareness and responsibility among young minds.
