Little faces, big feelings — Happy Emoji Day!
The early years at CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai came alive with colours, creativity and emotions as our little learners celebrated the Emoji Fun Fest with great excitement and joy!
To mark World Emoji Day, our vibrant Early Years community explored the world of feelings and expressions through fun-filled activities. EY1 Kiddies got hands-on with colours as they created emotional emoji faces using sponge dabbing. Each dab brought a new emotion to life, from happy to sad, surprised, and more, allowing our youngest learners to explore feelings playfully. EY2 Tots took part in a delightful emoji selfie session! They observed various emoji expressions and posed by mimicking them, learning how facial expressions connect to emotions. Giggles and smiles filled the room as they saw themselves reflect happiness and curiosity. EY3 Youngsters showed their artistic side by making creative emoji faces using earbuds. With every dot and stroke, they expressed unique emotions and discovered how a simple circle can speak volumes. Through these engaging and age-appropriate activities, our children not only explored the colourful world of emojis but also developed a deeper understanding of self-expression, emotions and creativity. At CPS Global School, we believe in celebrating every moment that adds joy to learning and the Emoji Fun Fest was just that!
