CPS Global School, Anna Nagar, hosted an enriching Cultural Exchange Programme in collaboration with the team from Lebara Media Services Pvt. Ltd., celebrating the theme “Cultural Confluence – East Meets West.” The event stood as a vibrant testament to unity in diversity, illustrating how cultures across continents connect through shared values, dialogue, and mutual respect.
Distinguished guests from Germany, the United Kingdom, the Caribbean, Italy, and India engaged warmly with students, sharing reflections on their cultural identities, professional journeys, and global experiences. Their interaction transformed the campus into a dynamic space for cross-cultural understanding and meaningful exchange.
The programme commenced with a graceful invocation dance, setting a tone of tradition and reverence. This was followed by a delightful early-years presentation, where young learners confidently sang in Spanish and French, symbolising linguistic diversity and global exposure from a young age.
A vibrant musical ensemble added energy and harmony to the celebration, while a thoughtfully choreographed ethnic walk representing different Indian states showcased the richness and diversity of India’s cultural heritage. A serene demonstration of yogic asanas highlighted India’s timeless contribution to holistic well-being, reinforcing the idea that cultural wisdom transcends borders.
The highlight of the event was the engaging talk show session, where students posed insightful questions to the guests. The conversation explored themes of cultural adaptation, global careers, shared human values, and the importance of understanding diverse perspectives. The exchange encouraged curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking which are hallmarks of global citizenship.
