Crack the Code: Grade 1 Learners Explore Compound Words @ CPS Global School, Anna Nagar

Written by cpsglobalblog

Our Grade 1 learners had an exciting time discovering compound words through a fun, hands-on activity in class!

Each group was given a set of word cards with simple words. Their task was to find matching pairs and form compound words—for example, sun + flower = sunflower, or rain + bow = rainbow.

The learners were engaged and enthusiastic as they worked together, helping one another find the correct matches.

It was a joyful and meaningful learning experience where they explored how two simple words can come together to create a new word. We are proud of their teamwork, curiosity, and growing language skills!
