The energy was palpable as CPS Olympix ’25 kicked off, bringing together all four campuses of Chennai Public School for an electrifying showcase of athleticism and camaraderie. This year was extra special—it marked the Crystal Jubilee, celebrating 15 years of academic and sporting excellence. The iconic Olympic torch, a symbol of unity and perseverance, was proudly carried by students from across the campuses, igniting not just the ceremonial flame but also an unstoppable competitive spirit.
The action-packed Phase 1 on January 3rd and 4th set the tone with high-intensity battles in basketball, kho-kho, and table tennis, paving the way for an adrenaline-fueled finale. The excitement only soared higher in Phase 2 on January 28th and 29th, as the field came alive with vibrant display performances and thrilling track and field events. From football and throwball to relay races, shot put, and broad jump, every moment was a testament to sheer determination, skill, and teamwork.
But Olympix was about more than just medals. It was about resilience and sportsmanship—relay teams pushing past exhaustion, competitors helping each other up, and rivals exchanging high-fives in mutual respect. The final results brought both ecstatic victories and inspiring perseverance, as houses celebrated their triumphs while others stood proud, their fighting spirit unwavering.
The grand finale was nothing short of spectacular, featuring a powerful band display and the Young Achievers March, recognizing students who exemplified dedication and excellence. As the last echoes of cheering faded and students walked off the field—arms around each other, hearts full—the spirit of CPS Olympix ’25 lived on!
