On 7th August 2025, the school hall turned into a dazzling runway as our Upper Primary learners showcased their flair for fashion with purpose at the much-anticipated Couture Conclave. This year’s inspiring theme, “Trash to Trend: The Recycled Runway,” celebrated creativity, responsibility, and the power of sustainability.
Students of Grades 3, 4, and 5 took to the ramp with confidence, donning outfits thoughtfully designed from recycled and reusable materials. From elegant dresses crafted with newspapers and cardboard to quirky accessories made out of bottle caps, fabric scraps, and natural elements, every creation carried a powerful message — fashion can be fun, stylish, and Earth-friendly all at once.
Each participant carried a tagline that amplified their voice — slogans like “Don’t Trash It, Transform It,” “Green is the New Black,” and “Wear the Change” left the audience both inspired and awed. The hall resonated with applause as students proved that what is often discarded can be reimagined into something beautiful, meaningful, and sustainable.
The event was not just about costumes on a stage, but about sparking a mindset shift — that sustainability is not a choice for tomorrow, but a responsibility for today. The Couture Conclave reminded us all that the runway of life should be walked with creativity, confidence, and care for our planet.
“When waste finds worth, fashion finds its true purpose.”
