“Electricity is the silent force that powers our world”
CIE3 students embarked on an exploration of how various materials interact with electricity.
Through hands-on experiments, they tested substances like wood, rubber, plastic, iron, steel, and aluminium foil to determine which allowed the flow of electricity and which acted as barriers. Their findings revealed that metals like iron and aluminum effectively conduct electricity, while rubber and plastic serve as insulators.
This real-world investigation provided valuable insight into the practical applications of electrical materials, from ensuring safe wiring in homes to utilizing protective coatings in appliances, making science both tangible and engaging.
“Science is best learned through discovery—one spark at a time!”
