Celebrating Bastille Day: A Journey Through French History and Culture @ CPS Global School, Anna Nagar

Written by cpsglobalblog

To celebrate Bastille Day, our CIE 3 Learners engaged in a range of fun and educational activities that helped us learn more about French history and culture. We began by watching a video on the history of France, focusing on the French Revolution and the significance of Bastille Day. Students then created colourful bookmarks featuring the Eiffel Tower, combining creativity with a touch of French flair. We also listened to the French national anthem, La Marseillaise, and discussed how Bastille Day is celebrated in France with grand parades, fireworks, and festive events. To wrap up, the students shared interesting facts they knew about the French Revolution, showing great enthusiasm and curiosity. It was a memorable day filled with learning and celebration!

The activities sparked a lively interest in French culture and history among the students. It was a wonderful way to blend art, music, and history into one enriching experience.
