Building Responsibility – One Small Step at a Time @ CPS Global School, Anna Nagar

Written by cpsglobalblog

“Responsibility is not taught in a day — it is built in the little things we do every day.”

In this week’s Gleanings Session, we reflected on the meaningful theme, “Building Responsibility.” At this tender age, children are growing not only academically, but also in habits, values, and life skills that quietly shape their character. True responsibility does not begin with grand duties — it begins with small, consistent actions practiced with care and commitment.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our parent speakers — Ms. Madhumithaa Sunder Rajan (mother of Nivruthi, Grade 2B), Ms. Ramya George (mother of Aiden, Grade 2B), and MsJacqueline Manohar (mother of Noah, IC) — for sharing their practical insights and personal experiences. Their reflections beautifully reinforced that responsibility flourishes when children are given patience, trust, and meaningful opportunities to try on their own.

The session focused on encouraging our learners to take up at least one simple responsibility at home. These small contributions help children feel capable, valued, and proud of their efforts.

The smallest acts of responsibility today become the strongest foundations of character tomorrow.”
