Astro Adventures: A Day of Space Fun in Early Years! @CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai

Written by cpsglobalblog

Asteroid Day, observed on June 30, aims to raise awareness about asteroids and the importance of protecting Earth from potential impacts. To commemorate this occasion, our Early Years children celebrated “Astro Adventures” with great excitement and joy.

EY1 participated in an energetic Asteroid Toss activity, where children enthusiastically threw crushed paper balls into space-themed hoops—enhancing both their motor skills and imagination. EY2 engaged in a creative craft session, making shiny asteroids using silver foil and crepe paper. Meanwhile, EY3 designed colourful asteroid belt crafts, helping them understand the solar system in a hands-on way.

A special storytelling session featuring “Tinku the Tiny Asteroid” captivated the young learners, sparking curiosity and introducing basic space concepts through an engaging narrative.

The celebration was a delightful and enriching experience, inspiring our little explorers to dream big and discover the wonders of space!
