The Early Years corridors came alive with music, colours, and cheerful smiles as our little ones celebrated Independence Day and Janmashtami with boundless enthusiasm.
Early Years 1 and 2 looked adorable as little Krishnas and graceful Radhas, bringing Lord Krishna’s stories to life with twinkling eyes, peacock feathers, and festive attire. They sang, danced, and listened to enchanting tales from Krishna’s childhood, filling the atmosphere with joy. Meanwhile, Early Years 3 radiated patriotism in vibrant tricolour outfits, showcasing energetic dance performances and engaging in classroom activities with pride.
Adding to the festive spirit were creative, hands-on activities. EY1 crafted Tricolour Salt Krishna Pots, layering saffron, white, and green salt in pot cutouts, topped with fluffy cotton “butter,” beautifully blending Janmashtami devotion with national pride. EY2 designed colourful Tricolour Flutes, adorned with saffron, white, and green hues, sparkling black glitter circles, and a graceful peacock feather, perfectly capturing Krishna’s charm. EY3 children used sponge-dabbing to create a vibrant image of Lord Krishna inside a tricolour banyan leaf — a stunning fusion of tradition and patriotism.
It was truly a day where freedom and faith came together, offering our children a joyful experience of India’s culture, traditions, and values.
