At CPSGS, TMZ, festivals aren’t just events — they’re living classrooms that bring learning to life. This year’s Dussehra and Navratri celebration was a vibrant expression of India’s cultural richness, spiritual depth, and the timeless message that good always triumphs over evil. The celebration began on a soulful note with a traditional sloka, invoking divine blessings and setting a serene mood. Students then took the spotlight, beautifully presenting the nine forms of Goddess Durga. Dressed in symbolic colors, they shared the significance of each day of Navratri, reminding us of the strength, grace, and wisdom the Goddess represents.
One of the most touching moments was the Vidya Aarambham — the sacred beginning of learning. As the sounds of devotion filled the air, our hearts were moved by the spirit of new beginnings and lifelong learning. The energy soared with a dazzling Dandiya performance, showcasing the joy and rhythm of Gujarat’s Navratri nights. The school choir’s devotional song added a divine melody that echoed long after the final note. From the dramatic Ramlila traditions of North India to the majestic Mysuru Dasara of Karnataka, students took us on a cultural journey across India, sharing the diverse ways Dussehra is celebrated. A beautifully arranged Golu display, featuring mythological dolls and storytelling scenes, offered a glimpse into South Indian traditions and filled the space with heritage and charm.
The event concluded with a powerful message — that light always defeats darkness, and truth always prevails. This message came to life as the whole school came together on the open dance floor, united in celebration, laughter, and joy.
More than a celebration, it was a reminder:
That courage, kindness, and knowledge are the true weapons of victory.
That our diversity is our strength.
And that festivals have the power to bring hearts together and make learning unforgettable.
We are proud of our students and staff for making this celebration so meaningful and memorable — a true reflection of India’s culture and spirit.
