Our young explorers from EY3 to CIE 2 embarked on a delightful journey to Kalaignar Centenary Park, and what an unforgettable day it turned out to be! Surrounded by the beauty of nature and a well-planned park filled with surprises at every turn, the children were full of excitement and curiosity.
We began our adventure at the enchanting tree house, where the children had a thrilling experience climbing up and taking in the stunning views from the top. The joy on their faces as they stood tall amidst the trees was truly heart-warming. It gave them a wonderful sense of height, space, and a unique perspective of the park.Next, we strolled into the beautifully designed glass house, where the children were fascinated by the variety of plants on display. From flowering species to rare greens, the space was not only educational but also a visual treat. The students were curious and observant, noting how well the plants were maintained and appreciating the peaceful environment it offered. It was a perfect spot to connect with nature and learn more about the plant world.
One of the highlights of the trip was the bird-watching experience. Stepping into the aviary, the children were thrilled to be so close to vibrant, chirping birds. It was a magical moment to be inside the large bird enclosure, watching them flutter around freely. This rare and close-up interaction left everyone wide-eyed and full of awe.To end the trip on a playful note, the children hopped onto the colourful toy train that took them around the park. With giggles and cheers echoing through the ride, this scenic tour wrapped up the day beautifully.
