Our students recently took part in a fun and imaginative activity called Handprint Garden to learn about the different parts of a plant. During this engaging session, they used their handprints to form colourful flowers, ice cream sticks as stems, real leaves for the foliage, and threads to represent the roots. This interactive project not only helped reinforce their understanding of plant structure but also gave them a chance to express their artistic side. Using a mix of textures and materials made the lesson both exciting and memorable — allowing students to build and visualize each plant part in a hands-on way. The classroom was filled with energy and creativity as students proudly showcased their unique creations. It was a joyful blend of learning and art, where knowledge truly took root and blossomed.
