“Technology is best when it brings people together.”
In our recent ICT lesson, students of IGYr 1 explored the world of input and output devices through a real-life group activity. Divided into teams, they observed and analyzed systems like train ticket kiosks, supermarket self-checkouts, and fast-food ordering machines. Each group identified how users interact with the systems and how information flows through them.
Through this activity, students learned that computers are not just on desks—they’re all around us, helping us shop, travel, and order food. The activity sparked excitement and curiosity as students connected what they learned in class to the technology they see every day.
“The best way to understand technology is to explore it with curiosity.”
