Storytelling is a powerful way of building language skills in young learners. As part of their learning, Class 1 learners brought the story of The Thirsty Crow to life, listening, sequencing events, using new vocabulary, and expressing ideas in their own words.
Through storytelling, learners develop listening and speaking skills, vocabulary, sentence formation, confidence, imagination, and comprehension in a joyful and meaningful way. Retelling the story also encouraged them to think about the sequence of events and the lesson behind the story.
