The ‘Regard before you discard’ @CPSGS ANN

Written by cpsglobalblog

“Our task, regarding creativity, is to help children climb their own mountains, as high as possible.  No one can do more.”  – Loris Malaguzzi

With a motive to bring awareness on how waste matters, and helping our children opt for prudent practices to see how best we can make use of something we intend to throw away.  The ‘Regard before you discard’ event was open to all students of class I & II. Children used their imagination and creativity to do innovative things. Broken bangles, plastic bottles, wasted nails, peanut shells, beads, old CDs, etc found their way into places they could have never been. The criteria for the competition were presentation, use of material, innovation, and overall effect.

The activity displayed the creativity of the little ones and developed a sense of love for the environment.

We could say it was done in ‘ thoughtful regard for the future ‘!
