THALIR ORIENTATION & WATER CHAMPIONS @ CPSGS ANN

Written by cpsglobalblog

A strong and resilient India needs young leaders who can inspire others and transform the country with their actions. Such young leaders are problem solvers and have a huge positive influence.  We are pleased to announce that we have signed an MOU with the Young Indians – Thalir Programme and it was rolled out with an orientation on 15th September 2021.

Young Indians (Yi), an integral part of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), is a movement for Indian youth to come together to lead, co-create and influence India’s future. Over the last 19 years, Yi has become a dynamic community of over 3,300 young leaders across 54 city chapters. Its activities and initiatives are centred on three foundational pillars– Youth Leadership, Nation Building and Thought Leadership.

Our students participated and welcomed yet another extended learning opportunity provided by CPSGS. As a first “Thalir” event – they attended an extremely enlightening guest lecture on Saturday (18th September 2021),  with one of the profound climate awareness speakers- Mr Pratheep Chandramohan. Water Champions is one of the Modules of Thalir programme. He highlighted the need for water conservation and easy ways to save water. The session concluded with a quiz round. This guest interaction was an eye-opener.  Finally, there was a profound quote spoken by the host, Mr Pratheep, which had a great impact on his conclusion.

“To a thirsty man, water is worth more than diamonds”.
