It was a musical day at CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai for our youngest learners from ELP. The day started with the ELP school prayer by Saindhavi and a soulful rendition of Gajamugha Naadha by Samanvitha of ELP3. It was heartwarming to listen to “God’s love is so wonderful” and “This little light of mine” by all our ELP students. Music has no language and this was proven right by the musical rendezvous by our ELP students spanning different language like French, Malayalam, Spanish and Korean. The Mom-Kid performance was the most favorite, where the kids sang with their moms. With women’s day just around the corner, we had a spirited round of Antakshari for all the mothers, grandmothers and the tiny tots. We could witness the sheer joy of the participants as they sang their hearts out jubilantly. The curtain was drawn on the event with the highly inspiring number- “We shall Overcome”. That was indeed the CPS Global Thirumazhisai version of “The Sound of Music”.
