Rakshabandhan @ CPSGS TMZ

Written by cpsglobalblog

“Hand in Hand or miles apart, brothers and sisters are always connected by heart.”

The bond between a brother and sister is unique and beautiful. The festival is made up of two words namely “Raksha” and “Bandhan”. Raksha means “Protection” and Bandhan signifies the Bonding and the word also means “to tie”.

ELP toddlers of CPS Global Thirumazhisai celebrated Raksha Bandhan virtually. They were dressed in their traditional best and looked alluring and were all set for the celebration. They were equipped with coloured strips of paper and glue to make Paper Rakhis.

The celebration kick started with a beautiful song that explained the meaning of the word ‘Raksha Bandhan’ and the significance of the festival. This was followed by a Rakhi making session by our little learners. They followed the step by step guidance of their teachers and it was a treat to watch the small hands make beautiful Rakhis with utmost perfection for their age. It was heart-warming to see some of our students tie their hand made Rakhis in their brother’s wrist. The satisfaction of having made the Rakhis on their own, was evident from their beaming faces. CPS Global Thirumazhisai, thus celebrated this special day with loads of love and laughter.
