Raksha Bandhan celebration

Written by cpsglobalblog

Our India is a reservoir of rich culture and traditions. Raksha Bandhan is one of the festivals which reflects the richness of Indian culture and traditions. It signifies the everlasting love and eternal bonding between brothers and sisters.

At ELP, we celebrated Raksha Bandhan so as to impart the significance of the festival to our children.  They were all dressed up gorgeously for the special occasion. Their happiness perked up when they started decorating their rakhis. Our girls were truly excited to tie the rakhi on their cute little brothers’ hand. They also exchanged sweets amongst themselves. Our kiddos experienced that,’Rakhi’ is not just a thread embellished with decorative stones or pearls, but it binds two souls in a bond of joy forever. Our little brothers and sisters took an unwritten oath to protect, nurture and uplift the loving relationship between themselves.

It was really an amazing celebration which made everyone’s heart pound with immense happiness.
