National Library Day is one of the most important days in every student’s life, as it celebrates the joy of reading and encourages the pursuit of knowledge. National Library Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by students from Grades 2 to 5, with a range of engaging activities designed to promote reading, creativity, and logical thinking. The celebration provided students with an opportunity to experience the library as more than just a place for books, and to discover learning through fun and interactive activities.
Students enthusiastically participated in the “Find the Word” puzzle activity, where they searched for hidden words related to books, reading, and literature. A stimulating Sudoku activity challenged students to apply their logical reasoning, concentration, and problem-solving skills.
An Authors’ Name activity was also conducted, encouraging students to identify and recall well-known authors and connect them with their favourite books and stories. The activities created an energetic and joyful atmosphere, with students participating actively and displaying curiosity and enthusiasm. The celebration successfully reinforced the importance of libraries as vibrant spaces for knowledge, imagination, discovery, and lifelong learning, making National Library Day a memorable experience for all participants.
