My India My Pride – UNITED WE STAND!- ELP

Written by cpsglobalblog

“Freedom in mind, Faith in words,

Pride in our heart, Memories in our souls,

Carried with care, coated with pride,

Dipped in love, fly in glory, Moments of freedom in shade of joy,

Thousands laid down their lives so that our country can breathe this day.

Happy  73rd Independence day!”

It’s been 73 years since India marked its first Independence Day on 15th August 1947. It’s the most important day for all Indians and will be etched in the history of India. It’s rightly said “A Nation’s culture resides in the hearts and soul of the people”. The history of the nation gives a glimpse into the magnanimity of its evolution – from a Country reeling under colonialism, to one of the leading economies now in the global scenario.

Each class had their own set of valuable activities to know more about the significances of the Tirangain our flag and to be aware of our rich heritage. The children pasted Spectacular Saffron flowers that signify courage and sacrifice, Majestic white doves that denote Peace and Purity, and glistening green leaves that symbolize Fertility and Growth.  Our beloved tots of ELP were thrilled as they took home learning about the pride and significances of India. They also learnt the various national symbols and the important Leaders of our beloved Nation.   Jai Hind.
