Math & Movement – ELP 1 @ CPSGS ANN

Written by cpsglobalblog

Today we are all set to have a kinesthetic and tactile approach to learning math. It incorporates physical exercise, stretching, cross-body movements along with a pinch of counting.

Our kids had fun crawling, hopping, jumping into the square and at the same time had a miscellany of objects to explore their counting skills following one simple rule to count -TOUCH THE OBJECT as we COUNT ALOUD.

This way of learning harnessed the child’s natural love of movement and creative imagination to master basic math concepts. Incorporating these exercises allowed our tiny tots to feel energized and ready to gain an understanding of anything that came their way.
