On Diwali, CPS Global School, Thirumazhisai students celebrated the occasion with great pomp and
grandeur. The grandiose online extravaganza initiated with shlokas and prayers sung harmoniously
by little children. The significance of the day related, the games conducted and the beautiful dance
added a festive vibrance to the virtual gala. IGCSE- Yr 1 students presented a small skit about the
Ecofriendly Diwali enlightening the awareness of pollution caused due to crackers. Head of School,
Mrs. Jayu Ganesh inspired all students with her words about the importance of integrity and
righteousness in our lives.
The annual CAS initiative, ‘Joy of Giving’, by the IBDP Yr 1 students to spread cheers amongst the
elderly at The Akshaya Trust was unfurled. Thus the spirit of Diwali and flag of hope and life was
accentuated further.
