Birthdays are always special, so is the celebration. Janmashtami (Lord Krishna birthday). The auspicious day of Krishna Janmashtami celebrated in the month of August or September; every year is one festival that sees a lot of participation from little kids! Kids love beautiful idols of Lord Krishna, the brave stories of lord Krishna and are often curious to learn about Janmashtami celebrations.

The EY segment of CPSGS Anna Nagar celebrated this festival with lot of zeal & did some few interesting, fun related Janmashtami activities for kids which helped inculcate the festive and cultural values in them. The segments Little Krishna and Radha looked adorable in their traditional costumes. They all painted & decorated the Krishna’s favourite Makhan pot with vibrant colours & stones and as the gopis and gopikas would twirl in joy in Brindavan so did our little cherubs!
