Entrepreneurship extends beyond textbook theory; it is the ability to transform an idea into purposeful action by understanding people, anticipating needs, and creating value. A week-long internship at the Institute of Venture Building (IVB) offered our AS and A Level cohort – Dhriti Jain, Himish Bhadani, Nikunjj Mehta, Sayam Nahta, Aanya Bhandari and Pranav Jain – an immersive introduction to the realities of building a venture.
As part of IVB’s upcoming D2C programme, the interns contributed to marketing strategy, website development, brochure design, audience profiling and supplier research. They also assessed IVB’s existing digital presence and explored ways to make its programmes more compelling for students of Grades 9 to 12.
Engaging directly with the IVB team, they were encouraged to question assumptions, conduct research, exchange perspectives and present their ideas. The internship offered a compelling demonstration of how ideas evolve through research, refinement and execution, bringing the principles of entrepreneurship vividly to life beyond the classroom.
